Mayank, 14, becomes the first junior contestant to win Rs. 1 crore in Kaun Banega Crorepati 15

<p>Amitabh Bachchan is the presenter of one of the most watched quiz programs in India, Kaun Banega Crorepati. The current season, which started in August, just had a unique Junior’s Week. Mayank, a participant from Mahendragarh, Haryana, made history by winning Rs 1 crore on the program at the youngest age ever. <p>Mayank also tried answering the Kaun Banega Crorepati question on the Rs 7 crore. “I feel very fortunate to have had the opportunity to display my knowledge on ‘KBC Juniors Week’ and play the game opposite Amitabh Sir, who motivated me throughout,” Mayank said after his incredible victory. For my family and myself, being the youngest competitor to earn such a substantial sum is a source of pride.</p>
<p>Mayank also said on the broadcast how much his family loves the show and how much they like Amitabh Bachchan. The 14-year-old, who is now enrolled in the eighth grade, expressed his appreciation to his parents for their constant support and direction.</p>
<p>Astonished by Mayank’s skill, Amitabh Bachchan asked his father how the young competitor picked up such a wealth of information at such a young age. In response, Mayank’s father disclosed that his son’s insatiable curiosity also permeates his academic career. He said that Mayank often looks for information on the courses for the next day in advance, which sometimes annoys his lecturers.</p>
<p>Manohar Lal, the chief minister of Haryana, praised Mayank on his outstanding accomplishment and shared a footage of the program on Twitter. The Chief Minister said in a tweet that he had a phone conversation with Mayank’s father and wished the young competitor all the best in the future. Mayank’s achievement gains more credibility on the national scene with the public acknowledgment from a state official.</p>
<p>Manohar Lal, the chief minister of Haryana, also congratulated Mayank on his accomplishment by posting a clip of the program on X, the former Twitter. He said that he had a phone conversation with the contestant’s father and wished the youngster all the best in the future.</p>
<p>Sony TV broadcasts Kaun Banega Crorepati 15 from Monday through Friday at 9:00 p.m.</p>
