Zeiss Optics is now loving Vivo’s V series, which means the Rs 40,000 category can finally enjoy the high-quality photography capabilities they’ve been waiting for. The large camera improvements help the Vivo V30 Pro without detracting from its emphasis on comfort and style. After experimenting with MediaTek for the Xseries, Vivo felt secure enough to offer it on the V-series once again.

Over time, the corporation has also improved our front-facing cameras for selfies compared to standard V models. The Vivo V30 Pro’s improvements come at a price; with a starting price of Rs 41,999, it is considered an inexpensive flagship device. What benefits does Vivo provide with the V30 Pro, therefore, that might entice consumers to consider purchasing one?

EVERY EVENING ON THE CAMERAS
Vivo is now providing the cameras for the V30 series, expanding the scope of its partnership with Zeiss Optics. We already know what to anticipate since we’ve evaluated their quality on the X90 Pro and X100 Pro recently. Can Vivo, however, transfer that flagship quality to another category? In our testing, we used a somewhat different combination of Sony lenses, but we nevertheless saw the same natural-looking colors and sharp details characteristic of Zeiss Optics.

Vivo said that Zeiss Optics provides the coating for the lenses, and we can conclude that these lenses have a beneficial effect in every manner. It is possible to fine-tune the program to get better outcomes. However, it is difficult to argue against the package that is being offered, and the lenses stand out in most circumstances because of the updated aura light, which enhances the depth and clarity of images taken in low light.

EXCLUSIVELY PACKAGED
Over the years, Vivo’s V-series has focused mostly on thin design and the selfie camera, and the V30 Pro has carried over some of its features. With its 7.45mm thin body, which might be cumbersome and less gripping due to the proportions and weight of 189 grams, you get a tiny and tall form factor.

The textured back of the phone looks nice, but if we had to choose, we would choose any other phone as our main due to its fragile nature and the 3D curved display’s well-known handling problems.

STEALTHY PERFORMER
Vivo’s MediaTek Dimensity 8200 processor, which has 256GB of inbuilt storage and up to 12GB of RAM, powers the V30 Pro. This is a tried-and-true hardware combination that performs well under most circumstances, is capable of doing everyday activities with ease, and lets you play occasional casual games.

Power users have better alternatives available on the market for this price point, therefore, the V30 Pro was never intended for them. However, for the majority of consumers, the hardware within the device should be more than enough.

In terms of software, the Funtouch OS 14 version that powers the V30 Pro seems lighter than earlier iterations; that being said, bloatware, or pre-installed programs, is still there.

Installed applications included Netflix, PhonePe, Snapchat, LinkedIn, and Vivo’s own app suite, which blended perfectly with Google’s offerings. Overall, the OS responds really smoothly, and we didn’t observe any hiccups that may have soured the experience.

‘PRO’ FOR LONG-LASTING
An impressive technical achievement for Vivo is that the V30 Pro can accommodate a sizable 5000mAh battery. The chipset contributes its knowledge of temperature management together with the built-in battery management to keep the phone running for extended periods of time. Additionally, the phone has 80W charging capabilities, which is something Vivo often includes in the majority of its high-end phones and enables the phone to charge quickly.

With all of the improvements, especially the quad-rear camera configuration, the Vivo V30 Pro has dramatically increased in pricing. Though those seeking an all-arounder may be tempted to consider other alternatives, the V30 Pro is a good pick for shutterbugs and design aficionados.
